Heavy Rain Ruined Opener Between India And Bangladesh
The Asia Cup opener among India and Bangladesh, first time in the T20 plan, could be ruined by rain as heavy showers touched the city on Wednesday.
Though the weather has been partly cloudy since Wednesday morning but according to sources, it has been drizzling since noon — few hours before the match.
The overcast conditions worried cricket experts and journalists at the venue. They took to social media to inform the spectators about the conditions.
Commentator Harsha Bhogle posted a photo outside his window in Dhaka.

Dhaka #AsiaCupT20 Sun. Drizzle. Blazing sun. Pitch dark and serious rain with a gale-like wind. Quiet again now. All in the last hour.

Former India wicketkeeper Deep Dasgupta also expressed his concern. He uploaded few photographs from his Facebook profile.
The Indian fans, still doubtful whether they will see MS Dhoni or Parthiv Patel behind the wickets, will be disappointed if the match is called off. This was a perfect platform to avenge their ODI series loss in 2015.
