Chris Gayle has been fined $10,000 by the Melbourne Renegades following his controversial interview with Channel Ten reporter Mel McLaughlin.
Yesterday Chris Gayle was in news for his controversial interview with McLaughlin. The cricketer all the time copes to court controversy never cares where he goes or what he does. The Royal challengers star is in severe criticism for saying a female cricket announcer for a date on live.
When he finished his innings for the Melbourne Rebels in their Big Bash League game with Hobart Hurricanes, Ten Sport’s Melanie McLaughlin come up to him for a brief chat.
Replying to McLaughlin’s questions, Gayle’s said: “I just wanted to have an interview with you as well, that’s why I batted so well.”
McLaughlin clearly anxious by Gayle’s comments, Chris Gayle added: “Your eyes are beautiful, hopefully we can win this game and then we can have a drink after as well. Don’t blush baby.”
The anchor rejected the proposal adding: “I’m not blushing.”
